Exploration and Production ("E&P")

Mirach Energy's technical team has comprehensive experience in exploration and production operations, including overseeing enhanced oil recovery projects (EOR) and significant exploration and production planning programs in China and oil fields in Asia. In addition to providing oilfield services, the Group holds interests in energy assets in an offshore oilfield in Cambodia and onshore oil and gas fields in Indonesia, via production sharing contracts or joint operation agreements. To augment its strength further, the Group teams up with units of China's National Oil Companies like the EOR Research Centre of PetroChina to engage in enhance oil recovery projects outside China, and inked framework cooperation agreements with China Petroleum Chemical Company, Shanghai Petroleum and Natural Gas Co. Ltd.

 

Kampung Minyak Field, South Sumatra, Indonesia

  • Kampung Minyak is a mature field and contains about 65 million barrels of Original Oil in Place(OOIP).
  • PetroChina's Daqing Enterprise International (DQE) is appointed to provide integrated oil field production and engineering services.

Mirach Energy is licensed to produce oil at the Kampung Minyak Field in South Sumatra, Indonesia for 15 years under a KSO (Joint Operation Agreement) with Pertamina. The field covers 45 square kilometres with 65 million barrels of OOIP mainly located in the reservoir formation between 200-500 metres. The company is partnering one of the most successful EOR firm in Asia, Daqing Enterprise International, a subsidiary of PetroChina Daqing Oilfield Company Limited ( 中国石油大庆油田有限责任公司 ), to rejuvenate the field and enhance production rates.

 

Cambodia Offshore Oil & Gas Block D

Mirach Energy owns a 48% effective stake in the Cambodia Offshore Oil & Gas Block D PSC. The PSC grant us rights for 7 years exploration and 30 years production development. Block D is an offshore area of 5506.9 square kilometers located in the northeast of the Khmer basin in Thailand Gulf, 150 sea miles to the Sihanoukville. The average water depth is 70 meters. Mirach Energy is the main operator of the block.
